Group Procurement is growing and we’re looking for a Procurement Project Manager to drive important and global procurement projects in collaboration with different stakeholders across the organization and our different production sites. Drive Procurement Projects and leverage your skills in procurement
As Procurement Project Manager you will drive cost-saving procurement projects often combined with targets related to sustainability or supply chain optimization. You will work closely with different Category Managers and other stakeholders, exposing you to a variety of interesting projects and cooperations with different parts of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Driving strategic projects using data insights and analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Setting clear end-product goals for the projects, identifying key deliverables and risks and structuring activities accordingly.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders, from frontline workers, and category managers to senior management, to ensure ongoing alignment.
  • Depending on the project, taking on specific tasks such as workshops, defining sourcing strategies, engaging with suppliers and stakeholders, and conducting negotiations


Group Procurement was formed within NKT 4 years ago by merging several local business line procurement teams. Today it consists of ~65 people across our European sites. The team is on an ambitious transition journey to become an even more professional and strategic contributor. 

The position is based in our Headquarters in Brøndby, close to Copenhagen. You will work in a hybrid setup with the possibility to work partly from home according to NKT's flexible working hour policy. The position might require 20-30 travel days (within Europe).

A strategic thinker with effective communication and organizational skills
To thrive and excel in this position, we believe that you have a positive approach, take ownership of tasks, and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently. You are organized, detail-oriented, and excel in time management. You have proven communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage with both team members and stakeholders effectively. You are data-driven and have experience with using data to inform decision-making. 


Additionally, your CV includes:

  • A university degree in economics, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Some years of experience as a management consultant or several years of experience in a strategic procurement role
  • Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Experienced Excel user
