Be a part of our Stakeholder Relations team– an important contributor in our NKT’s growth journey

To meet the growth of NKT we are now expanding our Stakeholder Relations team with a new role as ‘Public Co-Finance Director. 

This new role will be responsible for initiate and drive new public co-financing of our growth strategy across our business lines in Northern Europe, but also in regions and continents. In this role you will be assisting our sea cable factory in Karlskrona with implementing agreements in collaboration with the Swedish state, the region of Blekinge and Karlskrona city. Furthermore, you will assist with the co-financing in Germany and outside Europe.

You will be reporting directly to, Head of Stakeholder Relations. The department reports to the Chief Commercial Officer who is responsible for NKTs commercial operations. You will therefore be an important part of securing the continuing growth of NKT.  

As Public Co-Finance Director, you will: 
 

  • Manage implementation of existing co-financing agreements in the Northern European countries, especially in Sweden, in collaboration with business lines and external stakeholders.
  • Cooperate closely with our local team in Karlskrona in implementing existing identified opportunities for co-financing.
  • Factfinding, structuring and writing of applications together with external consultants.
  • Initiate and negotiate new public co-financing opportunities in countries, which are key for the future growth of NKT. 


Knowledge from the public sector and green transformation
To thrive in this role, you like to take initiative, collaborate with ease and are great at following through. You are a natural communicator both in writing and orally. 

Additionally, you have had some of the following experiences in the past.:
 

  • Working with public authorities. 
  • Been involved in the green transformation.  
  • Run complex projects with success  
  • Experience with national funding / co-financing – preferable from Sweden and/or Denmark 
  • Fluent English skills, spoken and written.     

 
The position is located at our headquarter in Brøndby, Denmark, along with your manager and most of our C-level. We are open for you to be located in neighboring countries, such as Sweden, with relatively frequent presence at meetings in the our headquarter. 

You may expect a significantly amount of travel up with up to 100 days in especially Northern Europe.
